We have another btw.. Sydney City Home with Harbour Views"; our spare room in the attic. We're pretty relaxed hosts, and as Sydney's #1 hosts we play an active part in the Airbnb community, but we fully appreciate staying with someone else, in their home home, is not for every- one. We get it, our place isn't for everyone. So we won't be offended if you leave this listing (there's plenty of other great Airbnb listings to choose from that don't offer a hosted experience). As we were among the first Airbnb'ers in Australia (travellers + hosts) we've developed quite an extensive profile based on all the guest questions we've answered over the years.

We live here. You are not be renting an empty apartment. This is not a 'sub- let'. And we do not have a team of porters waiting to take your bags any time of the day or night. Our "check in" / "arrival time" / "bag drop" is all the same thing. Private bedroom (with a lockable door). Queen size bed. * All linen, pillows, blankets, towels, etc, provided too.

Fully air- conditioned. Light Breakfast (cereals, fruits, toasts) included. Breakfasty things and tasty treats.

Three level terrace house. Only 2 minutes walk from the centre of Pyrmont. Just minutes walk from everything Sydney offers. Close to the Airport & all public transport.

Outdoor deck with seating and water views. Fully air- conditioned. Free wifi throughout the entire house. Couple of things you do need to know before you book.

STEEP STAIRS - Because the house is on three levels, and the stairs are steep, we wouldn't recommend the property for people who like to travel with lots of luggage, people with any mobility issues, or for children. TALK WITH US FIRST - Please send us a message & have a chat with us BEFORE you make your reservation request. THE AVAILABILITY CALENDAR IS ACCURATE - Please only make a reservation request for the exact (and complete) dates that you require. Pyrmont is an inner- city village of Sydney, only about 2kms from the Sydney CBD (Central Business District) / Core, right next door to Darling Harbour and Chinatown. Pyrmont has a relaxed community feel with an inner city vibe. Pyrmont is only about 2kms (1. Sydney with an extensive range of local restaurants, wine bars, and pubs.

There's some seriously good baristas and cafes right close to our home (Go and say hi to Damien & Tim at Bar Zini - it's one of our local faves). There's five star fine dining right through to greasy- spoon takeaways with some of Australia's finest dining restaurants within easy reach. Darling Harbour and Cockle Bay.

Exhibition and Convention Centres. Sydney Fish Markets.

Pyrama Point Park. Jones Bay Wharf. * The Star (Casino) with Food Halls, Bars, and the Lyric Theatre. Powerhouse Museum. National Maritime Museum. Also (back on the food - notice a theme?). Two grocery / supermarkets within an easy walk.

Pyrmont was once a thriving industrial waterfront / working port area with ship- building, factories and wool- stores. Over the last decade there's been a considerable influx of new residents and commercial / residential development that has transformed the area into a trendy mix of inner city residents and commercial HQs. For example Goo gle has their Sydney office, the "Goo gleplex" just down the road, as is Fairfax Media, NOKIA, and the Seven Network (TV).

Media Production houses, boutique cable TV channels, etc. The UTS (University of Technology) campus, the ABC's Ultimo headquarters (Australia's National Broadcaster), the Sydney Convention Centre, and the Sydney Entertainment Centre, are all within walking distance. Sydney University is about 2.

Eat, drink, and be merry. Being ex- restaurateurs we'd be more than happy to point you in the right direction for a great meal in Sydney. Watch Blade Runner 2049 Megavideo. And there's plenty on tap too. You can't walk more than a block in any direction without walking into the front bar of a local pub, or a wine bar, or a great cafe, or restaurant…. To give you an idea, there's 9 of Sydney's top 1.
