This would stand in stark contrast to Freddy fighting Jason, since Jason’s only form of speech is cutting someone’s head off with a machete. Freddy and Chucky engaging in a verbal exchange could be worth the price of admission all by itself. As to how an actual physical battle would go, it’s hard to really imagine one, as Chucky is so small, and Freddy has nearly limitless power if he gets his enemies in the dream world. Of course, one wonders if possessed dolls would even be able to enter a normal dream state that Freddy was capable of interacting with. Either way, both villains are seemingly impossible to kill, as proven by their many resurrections on film. Perhaps the best route for any human characters being menaced by both baddies would be to contact The Warrens from The Conjuring and have them come and exorcise both spirits back to hell.
